ENTRY TO THE 2021 NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP AWARDS IS NOW CLOSED
The National Apprenticeship Awards, now in their 18th year, have been designed to recognise and reward the achievements of exceptional apprentices, apprenticeship champions and apprenticeship employers.
Apprenticeships help shape successful lives and build successful businesses across a large and diverse range of sectors. The Awards give both individuals and businesses the chance to showcase the very best in practice across the country.
Thursday 30 September – Regional invitations sent

Wednesday 20 October 11:00 – West Midlands
Wednesday 20 October 14:00 – East Midlands
Thursday 21 October 11:00 – East of England

Monday 25 October 14:00 – North East
(Regional winners will automatically be shortlisted for the national stage. This shortlist will undergo a second tier national judging process where the national finalists will be selected. Only national finalists will be invited to the national awards ceremony.)

There are three Apprentice of the Year categories: Intermediate, Advanced and Higher or Degree.
These awards recognise apprentices who have made a real difference to their workplace and used an apprenticeship to boost their career.

There are three categories, dependant on the size of the organisation: SME, Large and Macro.
These awards recognise employers who have put apprenticeships at the heart of their business and reaped the benefits.
The Recruitment Excellence Award 2021 winner will also be selected from entries across the three categories. This award identifies employers who use innovative recruitment processes to ensure diversity in their workforce.

The Rising Star category seeks to identify apprentices that have made impressive progress in their career to date and have the potential to go even further. Rising Star entrants are nominated by their employer.

This award is for individuals who champion apprenticeships with enthusiasm. Their passion for apprenticeships is exceptional. The award is open to all individuals, and the initial nomination will come from a colleague or contact who recognises their "champion" credentials.
