National Apprenticeship Awards 2019 national finalists are confirmed following the ninth, and final, regional ceremony which took place in the East Midlands
Seventy-four apprentices, apprentice employers and individuals have been confirmed as national finalists in the National Apprenticeship Awards 2019.
Regional winners in each of the nine awards categories will now go through to the national final, to be held on 27 November 2019 in London, where winners and two highly commended finalists in each category will be announced.
Now in their 16th year, the National Apprenticeship Awards showcase the diverse and growing range of sectors engaged with apprenticeships, whilst celebrating the achievements of outstanding apprentices, apprentice employers and individuals to inspire others to follow in their footsteps and champion apprenticeships across England.
Following the regional ceremonies that took place across England during September, employers from sectors including banking, the public sector, TV and engineering will compete to win the four national, employer titles. Meanwhile, apprentices from sectors including pharmaceuticals, hair and beauty, the Arts and building will compete for the intermediate, advanced and higher or degree apprentice of the year title. An Apprenticeship Champion will also be crowned on the night, alongside the winner of the coveted Rising Star award – which is decided in part by a public vote.
