Emma works as the manager of a complex care setting that provides full support for individuals with learning disabilities. Emma leads her team to promote positive outcomes, independence, and autonomy for service users.

Emma works as the manager of a complex care setting that provides full support for individuals with learning disabilities. Emma leads her team to promote positive outcomes, independence, and autonomy for service users. She consistently has her clients’ best interests at the front of her mind and is responsible for safeguarding her service users by working with the local authority and safeguarding team, advocating to meet the needs of her services users. Emma also manages health and safety and complaints whilst monitoring and leading on service improvement.

Emma has completed her apprenticeship work to an exceptional standard, for example a recent piece of work was 40 pages long and covered a significant number of criteria due to the high level that this was completed to. Emma has also been linking key legislation, standards, and policies to her work to prepare for EPA. Emma is new to the care sector however quickly progressed to manager due to her strong leadership skills and abilities for supporting complex needs. Emma has demonstrated exemplary partnership working and has placed person centred care at the heart of her role. She fully deserves this recognition and is on track to complete her level 5 qualification six months ahead of target.
