Performing clinical duties in assisting the dentist and other clinicians which include disinfection, infection control, monitoring and support the patients and providing the best quality care and communication.

Katie has had a lot of challenges she has faced throughout her apprenticeship, one of which being completing her Maths qualification. Katie found this to be a huge barrier as when she was completing her Maths GSCE her father passed away and since then has had a serious fear of Maths. With full dedication and commitment she has managed to overcome this barrier and achieve her qualification. She has also just completed her dental nursing portfolio which she was working on alongside completing her Maths qualification. Katie has shown to be an aspiring individual with an extremely strong work ethic and commitment to her role and her qualifications.
