Adopstar

As an Adopstar Ad Ops apprentice, Hallie is required to communicate with clients about their requirements, both over email and via telephone. Her job involves scheduling advertising campaigns through our ad serving systems, reporting on campaign performance and optimising digital advertisements to ensure that KPIs (such as click-through rates and impression goals) are met. Over and above this, she is required to implement strategies to further increase advertising revenues. She also checks other team members’ work to ensure that it is completed to the highest standard, all while working as quickly and efficiently as possible to ensure that work is completed within the contracted turnaround times.

If you had met Hallie Downing on her first day as an Adopstar apprentice, you’d have met someone who was incredibly shy, to the point that she didn’t even want to answer the phone. Hallie’s style of leadership is greatly appreciated by her teammates. “In my experience, the best way to promote teamwork is to lead as a member of the team, rather than as a supervisor,” explains Hallie. “By showing your willingness to get stuck in and contributing to the work that needs to be done, you earn the respect of your teammates and foster a desire to work hard in everyone.”
